Terms of Service
Last updated June 2025
These terms govern your use of Svair products and services. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you are using Svair on behalf of an organisation, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
We have tried to write them in plain language. If something is unclear, please contact us before assuming the worst.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Use a strong, unique password. If you discover unauthorised access, notify us promptly at security@svair.org.
You may not share account credentials with people outside your organisation or use one account on behalf of multiple unrelated parties. Each account is for one person or one organisation.
Acceptable use
You may use Svair products for any lawful purpose. You may not:
- Use our services to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Send unsolicited communications or spam through our platforms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our software
- Use our services to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Resell or sublicense our products without written permission
We will terminate accounts that engage in these behaviours. We will provide notice where practical, but reserve the right to act immediately when the conduct is severe.
Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance. Prices are shown in USD unless you are in a region where we display local currency. All prices exclude applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect it again before suspending access. We will notify you by email before suspending your account. We will give you at least thirty days notice before increasing subscription prices.
Cancellation and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. See our Cancellation Policy for details on what happens to your data.
Intellectual property
We own the software, its design, and the underlying systems. You own everything you create, store, or upload using our products. That includes your documents, records, messages, and any data you generate. We do not claim ownership of any of it.
By using our products, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content for the purpose of operating the service. We do not use your content to train models, sell to third parties, or for any purpose beyond delivering the service to you.
Availability and disclaimers
We work hard to keep our products available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Software has bugs. Networks fail. We will communicate clearly about outages and work to restore service promptly.
Our products are provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for losses arising from downtime, data corruption, or errors — though we take these seriously and will always work to prevent and remedy them.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Privacy
Your use of our products is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Svair operates. Disputes will be handled in that jurisdiction. If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least thirty days before significant changes take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you disagree with a change, you may cancel your account before it takes effect.
